KMM C-500

KMM C-500 is a high aspect ratio micronized mineral product mined and processed in Kings Mountain, North Carolina. KMM C-500 has a mean particle size of 32 microns and aspect ratio of 71, making it well suited for applications requiring reinforcement and greater resistance to moisture, heat, light or chemicals. As a platy mineral, KMM C-500 offers beneficial rheological properties and is chemically inert. It can be used to control shrinkage and reduce cracking in advanced material composites. KMM C-500 also substantially increases stiffness and heat resistance, while promoting dimensional stability and improving electrical insulation properties in advanced material formulations.
