Shiyi Zhou, Pharmaceutical Technologist, Roquette
Shiyi Zhou is a graduate of the Technical University of Munich with a major in Biopharmaceutical Technology. She possesses a solid theoretical foundation and an international research background. With extensive research experience in pharmaceutical excipients, Shiyi specialises in HPMC (Hypromellose) applications, formulation development and process optimisation for oral solid dosage forms (OSD). She has significant expertise in the systematic design and development of hydrophillic matrix systems, helping to advance robust and high-performance pharmaceutical formulations.
Jovic Kuo, APAC Control Release Category Manager, IMCD
Jovic Kuo has more than 10 years of experience in pharmaceutical R&D and production. In his current role as the APAC Technology Manager for Sustained and Controlled Release at IMCD, he specialises in the technical application of excipients. With his deep practical expertise, he is able to support formulation development and process engineering for the pharmaceutical sector.
